It is often said that most people feel accomplished with one or two degrees in life. But Dr. Shrikant Jichkar shattered this notion, becoming a legend in the world of education. Recognized as India’s most qualified man, he held an extraordinary 20 academic degrees across multiple fields.
From medicine to law, management to literature, his pursuit of knowledge was endless. He completed MBBS and MD, went on to earn LL.B. and LL.M., followed by MBA and DBM. Not stopping there, he achieved M.A. degrees in 10 subjects — ranging from sociology, economics, and Sanskrit to psychology, political science, and history.
His academic journey also included a Bachelor of Journalism, a Doctor of Literature in Sanskrit, and success in the UPSC, qualifying for both IPS and IAS.
Dr. Jichkar’s life stands as proof that discipline and passion can transform a single person into a “walking university,” inspiring generations to chase learning without limits.
