Complaint to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Regarding Illegal Allotment of RMC Shop Rooms at Aul

Subject: Prayer for justice regarding illegal allotment of RMC shop rooms at Aul, Kendrapara

Respected Sir,

With due respect, I would like to draw your kind attention towards the serious irregularities and injustice in the allotment of shop rooms under the Regulated Market Committee (RMC) at Aul, Kendrapara.

The RMC shopping complex was established for the benefit of genuine farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and agricultural traders for the sale and storage of agricultural inputs and outputs. Unfortunately, the Secretary of RMC has allegedly allotted many shop rooms to politically influential persons, BJD workers, and relatives of contractors instead of genuine farmers and agricultural organizations.

It is very unfortunate that several persons who have been allotted these shop rooms are not directly involved in agricultural activities. Many of them have occupied the rooms and are further giving them to other persons on rental basis for their personal financial benefit.

Our organization, AUL AGRO PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED, had deposited the required security amount for two shop rooms for establishing agricultural input and output stores to serve the farming community. However, even after three years, we have not been provided possession of the shop rooms. Despite repeated requests and follow-ups before the concerned authorities, no action has been taken.

Such illegal practices are depriving genuine farmers, FPOs, and agricultural entrepreneurs from receiving the facilities that were specifically created for their welfare and development.

Therefore, I humbly request your good office to kindly:

1. Order an impartial inquiry into the allotment process of the RMC shop rooms at Aul, Kendrapara.
2. Verify the eligibility and background of the present occupants of the shop rooms.
3. Cancel the allotments made in favour of ineligible and politically connected persons.
4. Ensure fair allotment of shop rooms to genuine farmers, FPOs, and agricultural organizations like AUL AGRO PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED.
5. Take strict action against the officials involved in corruption, favouritism, and misuse of public property.

We have full faith in your leadership and commitment towards the welfare of farmers and agricultural organizations in Odisha. We sincerely hope that justice will be delivered to genuine farmers and deserving organizations.
